RedPoint Global Positioned in Gartner Magic Quadrant for Data Quality Tools for Fifth Consecutive Year

We’re proud to announce that Gartner has positioned RedPoint Global in the Data Quality Tools Magic Quadrant for the fifth year in a row. Gartner evaluated 17 vendors on their ability to execute and completeness of vision.

The Gartner report defines data quality assurance as a discipline focused on ensuring that the condition of data is fit for use in existing business operations and emerging digital business scenarios. As a discipline, data quality assurance covers much more than technology. It also includes: processes for monitoring, measuring, reporting, and remediating data quality issues; and links to broader information governance activities via policies specific to data quality. Per Gartner, the market definition for data quality tools has been updated in 2016 to reflect market dynamics driven by emerging adjacent technology developments as well as the growing maturity of the market. The data quality tools market comprises vendors that offer stand-alone software products to address the core functional requirements of the discipline, which are: which include matching, monitoring, data profiling, and parsing and standardization.
